I built my "dream home" in 2009 with Americas homeplace in Sevierville, TN. Although I have had a few minor issues with the construction, overall I got a great house completed on schedule for a great price.

The only issues I have had were the settling of nails coming through the ceiling which they said was "normal settling" and the cabinet hardware all broke within the first couple years. The carpet was low grade and I w I wished I had spent the money to upgrade it because what a hassle to replace.

But again, I am happy and building a home can be very stressful and my experience was stress free!!!!!

I would definitely use them again and I am sorry to hear all these complaints, but I can assure you building with any builder will not always go perfectly no matter who you hire.
